Monday 10th of May: Latte Art Basic
Through this intensive practice course the barista will improve the technique of whipping up milk and will master the basic designs of Latte Art such as hear, leaf, and tulip. The day will be led by Fabio Colicchia, a certified Latte Art Grading System trainer and a leading figure in the world of national and international latte art.
During the course the participants will be able to understand the basics, from the extraction of the espresso, to the choice of milk and the tools necessary for a perfect performance. Various decoration techniques such as etching and topping will be taught allowing participants to begin mastering the basic designs of LATTE ART.
Monday 17th of May: Latte Art Intermediate
This intensive practice course is aimed to improve the bartender’s technique in creating more advanced decorative figures such as tulip and reverse with leaf (rosetta) and tulip with 4 and 8 elements. The day will be led by Fabio Colicchia, a certified Latte Art Grading System trainer and a leading figure in the world of national and international latte art.
During the course participants will be able to review the basics of latte art and espresso extraction. Various decoration techniques will be studied in depth to allow participants to improve their technique and master the designs of Latte Art.
Orso Laboratorio Caffè is the only center in Piedmont authorized for the issue of the Latte Art Grading System (LAGS) certification. With this course the students will be able to apply for the Green and Red grading.
