Barista Course - Basic skills
During the course, we explain the supply chain of coffee, from the plant to the cup.
At an introductory level it will be analysed:
-Extracting espresso
-Grinding
-Frothing milk
-Equipment maintenance
Barista Course - Intermediate Skills
The course aims to deepen the concepts learned in the Basic Skills Course, analyzing more thoroughly the extraction of coffee for a single-origin or blend espresso. The techniques will be illustrated in detail on how to pull the perfect espresso.
Brewing Course
The course illustrates the principal alternative espresso extractions while demonstrating the practice and theory. The concept of brewing and the various techniques including.
AeroPress, Chemex, French press and V60 will be analyzed.
Introductory Latte Art
The course examines frothing milk, letting the participants begin to master basic Latte Art designs (heart, leaf, tulip). Various decorating techniques like etching and topping will be covered.
Intermediate Latte Art
Course for deeping the secrets of LATTE ART and allowing the participants to arrive at a superior level that allows them to master the techniques to realize complex designs and figures with more elements in the cup.
Advanced Latte Art
The course aims at providing knowledge and techniques to the participants to confer the capacity to realize complex designs and to replicate the most famous designs by the champions of the sector to them.
Giuliano Coffee School, with Orso Laboratorio Caffè, is also a “Grading Point”, or a certified centre for the issue of the “Latte Art Grading System” qualification.
